Delete Your Account
Your data, your choice — we make deletion straightforward.
Option 1 — Delete directly in the app (recommended)
The fastest way to remove your account and all associated data:
- Open Splito on your device.
- Tap Profile (bottom-right tab).
- Tap Account.
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account.
- Confirm the deletion when prompted.
Deletion is immediate and permanent. All your activities, expenses, and personal data are removed from our servers on the spot.
Option 2 — Request by email
If you no longer have access to the app, email us with your username and we will delete your account within 7 business days.

- Your account credentials and profile
- All activities (groups) you own, including every expense and member record
- Your membership in other people's activities
- All personal debt (IOU) records linked to your account
Backup copies are purged within 30 days.
What is not deleted
- Expenses in activities owned by other users — those remain in the group but are anonymised (your name is removed).
